Royal Guitars

The duo is formed by German guitarist, Torsten Ratzkowski, and Danish guitarist, Jan Thomsen. For more than 20 years they have toured through many European countries, North and South America, and Asia.

The Royal Guitars are playing at many international festivals and are travelling as "cultural ambassadors" for the German and Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The duo has often been invited to perform for members of the Royal Danish family, for instance at Schackenburg Castle and at Fredensburg Castle.

The Royal Guitars were also graciously asked to perform when Danish Queen Margaret and her husband Prince Henry visited the city of Lübeck in Fall 2003.
